It is not likely that top branches (CSE, ECE) will be opened at AEC or JEC, their closing ranks are well below 1,500.

Branches such as Civil, Electrical, Mechanical at AEC, JEC, JIST may be available in later rounds of counselling.

Other newer government colleges like Golaghat, BVEC, BBEC should also be comfortable with your rank- particularly in core branches of engineering.

Dhemaji Engineering College has decent prospects, but no adequate data are available, yet this is a younger institute, and the placement in the core streams is feasible.

You must cancel your GRE test at least four days before scheduled date. If you do this, only 50% of total fee will be refunded. GRE Cancellation fee is half of fee.

To cancel your GRE, just log into your ETS account. Select cancel option. Most important rule is to do it at least four days before your test. If you cancel within this timeframe, you will receive a partial refund of your fee.

Candidates meeting the given below criteria can avail the scholarships:

For SC Candidates – Income of the Parents should not be more than 6.00 lakh/ annum.
For ST Candidates – Income of the Parents should not be more than 6.00 lakh/ annum.

IIEST Shibpur CCMN cutoff 2025 has been released for admission to the MSc specialisations, for the first round. The cutoff was released for different categories belonging to the All India quota. ETS releases dates of exam in July every year. It is highly recommended to register for GRE Subject Test as early as possible. Ideally several months in advance. This will help you to get your slot at your preferred test center on your favorite day.
