Yes, you can. Try to revise the basic concepts of subjects which are in your course of GATE. Solve as much problems as possible on those concepts. You can try problems from Made Easy materials or Career Launcher study material. Also, solve problems from last 10 years GATE papers.

Both have different formats of studying. For CAT, you need to focus on data interpretation, logical reasoning and verbal aptitude with as much as mock exams you can give.

Old NITs are the best. Some of the top level NITs are MNIT, Allahabad & NIT, Warangal. IISC, Bangalore is also famous as it has good placement. IIT Roorkee is famous for its civil branch. IIT Kanpur and Bombay are at the top level. New IITs are not good in terms of placements and facilities.

Yes, sure, you can do BCA. But after clearing the entrance so you may get admission in IP university. I was also previously informatics practices student in 12 so in entrance there was section of maths also which I don't have any single idea about it. So if you want to clear the entrance exam please do coaching for maths for just rough idea.
