There are mainly two categories of scholarships:

- Merit-based scholarship

- CUCET: entrance test-based scholarship

- On the basis of your JEE rank

- In merit-based scholarship, if you have scored above 90% in 12th grade then

you are eligible of upto 50% scholarship on tuition fees.

- CUCET scholarship, here you are supposed to sit for the entrance test of

Chandigarh University CUCET which is mandatory for all engineering

programs. Then on the basis of your score, you can become eligible for a

scholarship between 15% to 100% tuition fee waived off.

- If you had given your JEE Mains and ranked less than 50,000 then you are

eligible for scholarship.

There are many other scholarships like single girl child, child of an army officer and

many more. In the end, you are given a choice of one scholarship the highest one,

coz only one scholarship can be applied at once.

There is no reservation policy at Chandigarh University for merit-based or reserved categories. However, there are scholarship criteria based on 12th-grade merit. Students scoring above 90% can receive a 50% scholarship. Additionally, they have the opportunity to take the CUCET exam, and if they score above 90%, they become eligible for a 100% scholarship. For reserved categories like SC and ST, their tuition fees for the entire course are only 2000 rupees, which is refundable at the course's end.

These scholarships do not impact your placement opportunities. All students, regardless of their scholarship status, have an equal chance to participate in placements with their preferred companies.
