If you wish to build your career specifically in the field of health care and pharma sector only then pursuing MBA in health care or MBA Pharmaceuticals Management would be the best option for you.
However, if you wish to keep your scope open in other sector as well, in that case you may consider pursuing general MBA program.
The other option, for you would be to work for 2-3 years and then opting for MBA.
The advantage of this work experience would be:
- You will gain relevant work experience.
- After working you will know which specialization to opt in MBA that can further enhance your career prospects.
- The other advantage of work experience would be that during admission in MBA, you will have advantage over candidates with no work experience.
- Finally, if you work for some years then you may yourself manage the expenses of your further studies.
In order to pursue full time MBA program you need to be graduate in any field with atleast 50% marks in graduation, plus you need to take various management entrance test like CAT, MAT, XAT, SNAP, etc.
Please remember, the final selection in MBA institutes is made on the basis of:
1. Education background of the students.
2. Score in various management entrance test.
3. Performance in group discussions and personal interview.
4. Work experience if any.

• Passed with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate* or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of candidates of Backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only) in any Bachelor's degree awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

• Appeared** for the final year examination of any Bachelor's degree to be awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational Institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. Such candidates can be considered for provisional admission subject to passing the Degree exam with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate* or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only).
• Candidates appeared for final year examination fulfilling the remaining eligibility criteria will be offered provisional admission subject to the condition that they will pass the examination with the required percentage of marks on or before the date prescribed by DTE for time to time. In case, the candidate fails to produce the results of the final year examination on or before the date prescribed by DTE, then admission offered to such candidate automatically cancelled and the fees (tuition, development and other fees) paid by the candidate will be forfeited.
