It is perceived that B.Tech engineers can perform better in the Management field because of their techno-commercial skills. However, it may not be always true. However, today every B.Tech engineers are expected to complete MBA/ PGDM when they are in the management role. B.Tech course offer them to learn basic engineering while they are expected to get practical experience through internship, industry projects, etc. and finally when they begin to work they get real life hands on opportunity to learn engineering which colleges cannot teach in classrooms and labs. Similarly, MBA/ PGDM course teach the theories and scopes of knowing and using management skills which students need to sharpen with practical experience during summer internship and finally when you are in a job. B.Tech engineers with adequate learning of technology and also learning the required skills in the management field are surely the most preferred candidates for most employers.
