It's good to know that you have interest in counselling field.
1) As you have already completed post graduation in Psychology you may further opt for specialized courses in the counselling field :-
-You may opt for Counseling Psychology to work as a counselor in schools, hospitals, rehabilitation centers etc.
-You may opt for Child Psychology if you wish to counsel students in schools, hospitals, NGOs etc.
- You may even consider other branches in Psychology field such as Clinical Psychology, Organizational Psychology, Criminal Psychology, Sports Psychology etc).
Opt for the specialization as per your interest and skills.
2) You may alongside attend workshops and short term therapeutic / organizational courses to enhance your counselling skills and widen up your opportunities.
3) After completing the course, you can seek job in various sectors such as private industry, universities, schools & colleges, clinics, hospitals and in government agencies and acquire experience alongside in the related field.
- You may work under the management of doctoral level psychologists.
- You can also work in sectors such as in health centers as assistant in administrative department and rehabilitation sector.
- You may even work in research establishments, welfare organizations, child / youth guidance centers.
