You class 12 scores doesnt matter. your graduation scores and the technical knowledge you have will matter the most. Try to focus on quantitative aptitude from books like RS agarwal and mainly focus on your technical core subjects.

For getting admission in CUSAT, the main thing is that, the student has to appear in the CAT exam held in the month of may/june.
the notification for the exam comes by April end. one has to register for the exam and appear in it. depending on the rank you get in this exam, you'll be called for the counseling.
