Normally package range starts from 3.5 lakhs p.a. if you are getting passout from a good college. But if you are passing out from a reputed institution then the highest package can go into 6-7 lakhs p.a. It depends on your knowledge also. So just prepare well and concentrate more on languages like JAVA or Dotnet. If you have good knowledge in these then it is easy for you to join any company at a very good package.

Go for BIMTECH insurance because the welingkar pgdm placements have declined in recent years while the placements of PGDM insurance is best out of all courses offered at bimtech.for 2016 batch the entire batch got placed by december end.

Currently there is no provision of lateral entry in BTech for Diploma holders in Mechanical Engineering in IITs. If you have PCM at +2 stage you can appear for JEE to seek admission in IIT.
