Your question ! This is what I felt before joining the course.
Medical electronics is a specialized discipline which combines both engineering knowledge and skills with biomedical sciences for improving the health care system in hospitals and medical institutions. This course is like having two degrees; one as a medical professional( a partial doctor) and as a engineer. Although you will clear all the cutoffs, but without a really good CAT score probably you will not receive interview call from IIMs. Given these score I would suggest that you should do really well in CAT and try to achieve at least 99.5 percentile. If you get more than 99.5 percentile with more than 95 percentile in all subsections, you will definitely get few interview calls from high ranked IIMs.

It doesn't matter how many marks you got in your exams. You just need to focus on what you can do better. If you feel like you can do Eco Hons you should go for it. Marks can't define your career. You can go for Eco Hons that will be better for you. Also along with the course selection you need to select a good college to pursue your degree which can give your career a kick start. BA Psychology is a degree course offered for all from any field. It is not only for medical students but non-medical students can also study the psychology if they are interested.To study psychology in BA one need to complete higher studies in diploma or 12th.
