If painting is your hobby that you want to change into your profession then you can go for courses like MFA, MA fine arts etc to learn the minute intricacies of the branch.
Many universities like LPU, SRM, SMU etc are offering these courses with lot of exposure to students to showcase their creativity in the form of exhibitions etc.

Well if you're 18 you can take the BPP (Bachelors Prep Program) route to Degree. Do remember, Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people.
