In case you don't get your desired college, don't settle for some mediocre college. Instead of settling down for some mediocre college, it would be better if your try for some good private university. Many reputed private universities are offering B.Arch. They have their different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of NATA and some offer admission on the basis of both. Some even offer direct admission on basis of class 12 marks. Some of the universities also offer scholarships on basis of your performance in class 12 or JEE or NATA. You can check the details of any of the reputed universities like VIT, Lovely, SRM, etc. All these universities have wonderful infrastructure and world-class facilities to offer to students apart from good placements.

An eligible candidate has to appear for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering GATE exams. GATE exam is jointly conducted by Indian Institute of Science and IITs for technical graduates. Forms for GATE exam is available in the month of September every year and admit card can be taken in the month of December. Exam is conducted in the month of January and expected month for declaration of result is March. Skills tested in this exam are General Aptitude and Engineering Mathematics. Institutes like IITs, NITs, IISc and many other require GATE score and interview round score for the selection process. Many private institutes like Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar and Amity University, Noida conduct their individual entrance test for the selection which is followed by an interview. Direct admission in M.Tech. Biotechnology in SRM University and Hindustan University through management quota. The approximate course fee in private institutions ranges from INR 0.72 Lacs to INR 1 Lacs while in government colleges fee ranges from 25,000 INR to 30,000 INR. Regards.
