Mathematics is a compulsory subject to get into DU for B.Com (Hons). Every college of Delhi University offers B.Com (Hons.). It's not compulsory that Mathematics should be a part of your best of four percentage, what matters is that you should have studied it in 10+2.
Moreover, Mathematics is a compulsory subject in one of the semesters of both B.Com (Hons.) and B.Com (Prog.) therefore there is no way to dodge maths either before or after getting into the varsity.

Whatever modes of education we opt for should match our needs and requirement. Regular colleges are better than the correspondence as in regular colleges, there is an overall development of the student. The Student gets an endeavour of other activities like exhibitions, cultural fest, technical fest, etc. Which correspondence students are devoid of. But it doesn't mean that correspondence colleges are waste. There is a big importance of correspondence colleges for employed people.

The minimum eligibility criterion required for the candidates is to possess a Bachelor's degree in English or relevant discipline from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate score of 60%. Admission to MA English is done on the basis of entrance tests. However, some MA English colleges also provide direct admission based on merit.
