Both JBIMS & SIBM are both top business schools. However, there are some key diff between the 2. JBIMS is located in Mumbai & hence has wider range of opportunities for internships & jobs. Admission to both the schools is competitive but JBIMS is slightly more competitive. Ultimately, the decision rests on students. 1) The first thing would be to keep your branchmates close but roommates closer.
2)The GPA matters, from a good study group, stay awat from showoffs.
3)If you want to change your branch then you have to be in top 5.
4) do not fall into mess/garden secretary trap. you won't earn much.
