The candidate must have the physics, chemistry and biology in 12th class. The candidate should have to go through the different national and state level entrance examinations.

When you opt for PCM combination, you will get a degree of B.Sc.
There isn't any major difference between them as Honor's students also study some basics and major parts of main & subsidiary subjects.
Universities have different criteria for this, as in Banaras Hindu University, you have to choose the combination of three subjects whereas for Delhi University, you have to choose only one single subject for graduation.
As both are graduation degrees, both are equal and there isn't any advantage for a particular one.
