IMU Kochi has two specialization, one is Port and Shipping Management and the other is International Transportation and Logging Management. These set of programmes aim at training in the maritime and logistic world of managerial skills. The curriculum includes a practice of experience in the maritime industry.

In the case of undergraduate courses such as BTech Marine Engineering and DNS in IMU Kochi, the candidates have to meet this requirement as they must be at the age of 17 years old and not above 25 years of age when they take admission. The age is computed as on the day of course start up or admission. But up to 5 years concession is given on upper age limit of candidates of SC/ST categories.

Candidates must register for the centralized online counselling process after qualifying in IMU CET. During counselling, you will be required to select your preferred campuses, including IMU Kochi, and upload the necessary documents. If you are allotted a seat at IMU Kochi, you must confirm the seat by paying the specified admission fee within the given deadline.

In Indian Maritime University Kochi admission process is mainly done through IMU Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) which is conducted by IMU in its various campus and institutes affiliated to it. IMU CET is a country-level admission test through which students screen themselves to enroll in the marine courses Like BTech Marine Engineering, DNS, and MBA at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The test will assess knowledge of various subjects like English, General Aptitude, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of a candidate.

Application fee of INR 1,000 is charged from the General and OBC-NCL candidates of IMU Kochi. The SC/ST candidates will be charged INR 700. When filling the application form online, the fee could be paid using debit card, credit card or net banking.

Interested candidates can also visit the IMU site and apply at IMU site under the IMU CET section. Once the candidate has enrolled with personal and academic information, candidates should then attach needed files and pay an application fee online.

You can also apply Nirma University with NRI, NRI sponsored and PIO candidates. They should use the online admission portal as they do the regular applicants. When the admission is done, course fee is to be paid by means of cheque or a demand draft payable in Ahmedabad in the name of Institute of Technology, Nirma University.

The applicants are required to visit the official web site, proceed to the admissions link and then the apply now link to apply to Nirma University. They should complete the form, sit on a web-based application form, and pay the money. One can submit the application fee via net banking, credit card and debit card.

Yes, there is reservation standard in the allocation of the scholarships at Nirma University. The reserved categories such as SC (7 per cent), ST (15 percent), SEBC which comprises widows and orphans (27 percent) and EWS (10 percent) are also taken into account in the merit list. The proportionate distribution is done to the above-mentioned groups according to the university policy of admission.

You can apply for B.Ed in Special Education through IGNOU or DU-SOL. It's best to check their official websites for details about eligibility, dates, and fees. IGNOU usually has an entrance exam, while DU-SOL might take admissions based on your merit for some courses.
