You should start your exam preparation for Interior Design courses after 12th as early as possible, at least 3 to 6 months before the exam is tentatively scheduled to take place. The time for Interior Designing exam preparation differs on the basis of the specific exam you're planning to appear for also as exams like NID and NIFT are quite difficult and see very tough competition for seats every year, with every design aspirant dreaming of grabbing a seat there.

Yes, CUET is mandatory in any admission to most of the Undergraduate and some of the postgraduate programs at Jammu University. The university adheres to the CUET UG, and CUET PG pattern of the NTA. Any candidate has to take CUET to be eligible.

In general, it can easily take at least 2 to 4 months because each college follows their own guidelines for admission to Interior Design courses often including entrance exams, college application forms, results, merit lists, interviews, and portfolio submissions.

Yes, most undergraduate and a number of postgraduate courses in Jammu University require a candidate to be eligible in CUET. The university adopts NTA CUET UG and CUET PG pattern. To be eligible the candidates must register and CUET. The exam schedule of CUET should be kept track of.

The entrance exam accepted for Jammu University admissions is the JUET entrance exam. The difficulty of this entrance exam is considered hard however, it is not considered as hard as some of the other entrance exams like JEE. Jammu University has a rank requirement basis of the programme and the exam. In the case of CUET or JUET, the rank position changes with every year depending on competition and number of seats. In popular courses your position is higher. To get a better idea check past year cut offs.

In case you are not able to get an admission in Jammu University under MBA, then it is possible that you can apply the following year or you can go to the colleges that are affiliated. Otherwise, apply to other institutes which take MAT or JUET scores. Study hard and perform better in the entrance tests. You can also go to PG Diploma courses in management.

Jammu University does not specify a definite cut off of CUET because it depends year by year. As a rule, the scores that are comprised between 60 70 percentile raise your probability. The cutoffs are based on the course, category and seats availability. Competitive programmes should always receive a bigger score

Yes NID Ahmedabad does offer Postgraduate Scholarships to meritorious MDes students. These are on an academic / financial merit basis. Students who have been selected could also be given a monthly stipend or the financial help based on the project work.
