CFA is good career option; It basically is a designation offered by the CFA Institute (formerly AIMR) to financial analysts who complete a series of three examinations. Now this has turned into more of a Chartered certification and is also being offered in India.

Though IIPM is always in highlights for its pros and cons.
But what really matters is your own dedication and hard work during the degree / course, you study there or any were else. OK, college reputation matters but student's own skills / profile matters more than that.
