Hi Anshul, for PhD courses there are no deadlines. To pursue PhD you need to first prepare your research proposal and send it to the university. The research proposal must include a summary of the proposal and then the proposal in detail. You need to write the topic, reason for doing research, how the research will be beneficial to the community and the university, what is the different thing you are doing that has nt been undertaken earlier. All colleges are good in some or the other aspect. Because your mark are on the lower side and you want to get into MBA college, the only option left for you is to work harder and study in a better way in which ever college you get admission into and thus make provision for entry into a reputed organization for your career.

Hi Dinesh,
First let me congratulate you on your good score. As a student of MAPS, (where I must say I have had a very enriching experience so far) I would suggest you try for their Bangalore campus.
The best thing about MAPS is that they focus more on learning rather then cramming, which is why practical and hands on learning, industry training, entrepreneurship development sessions form an integral part of the academics here. And it is only because of their curriculum that I was able to get a very good summer placements with Videocon.
If there is anything else that you would like to know, please log into their website, http://www.maps.

Although, there is no fixed cutoff which can get you in a decent B-School but the higher you get the better it is, You definitely have to cross the 90 percentile mark to get into a decent B-school but even with this high percentile there is no guarantee

I strongly suugest, that you look, at giving your CAT again. It is very tempting to go in for the MAT exam, since it is held four times in a year, whereas CAT is held only once a year. CAT is not so difficult, as people make it out to be. Apart from CAT, you can also look at other entrance tests like, XAT, FMS, NMIMS, MH-CET, SNAP and so on.

Hi Gautham,
As the cut offs keeps on changing every year it would be difficult to give you the exact details whether or not you will be able to make it to NITIE but as per the last years cut offs which was 97+ it seems difficult. For further information I would suggest you to contact the Institute directly.
For more information on Institutes accepting CAT scores and their cut offs please check the link below:

Not all the institutes would have closed their registrations as yet so I would suggest you to check with the Institutes individually for further information on Registration.
Hope this resolves your query. Fe
