UPSC examination is conducted every year and on the basis of this examination a number of IAS, IPS, IFS officers are recruited.
To be eligible for the exam :
- You need to pass graduation in any field from any recognized university.
- You are eligible if you are in the final year of graduation.

The salary depends on your ability and where you are using the language. The salary in a KPO where French is required can provide you 30-40k while in an agency it may be less

Selecting a specialization entirely depends on your interest and skills. After completing B.Tech in EEE branch you have two fields :
1) Core field
2) Software field
If you are opting for core jobs, you may take some courses related to your branch :

Apourv, there are chances of call if you mail the resume. But, based on the vacancies only, there would be a response to your mail. I would suggest you to look also at Jindal Steel & Power, Suzplon Power. NHPC, NTPC, L&T Power, GE etc for jobs in Power sector. If you wish to do higher studies in fields related to power, studies at NPTI would be a nice option.
