NIT may permit change in branch of BTech of a student admitted through JEE (Main) after the second semester if there are any vacancies in that branch based upon JoSAA/CSAB seat matrix category wise.

Only those students will be considered for change of branch who have:

i) completed all courses in the first semester and second semester in the first attempt

ii) have secured a SGPA not less than 8.75 in both semesters

The counselling process is for students who qualify for the GBPUAT Entrance exam. Then they need to pass the cutoff as well. During the counselling process, students need to accept their seat and pay the seat acceptance fee. It is suggested to prepare all the important documents in advance. 

Candidates do need to pass NEET for admission in MBBS programme of Government Medical College, Buldhana. The seats are allotted to candidates based on their NEET rank via Maharashtra NEET Counselling. Once the seat is allotted, aspirants need to report at the college campus for document verification and fee payment.

The AIBE Exam will be conducted in 22 languages, including English. The AIBE Exam will be conducted on June 7, 2026.
