Tezpur University conducts Tezpur University Entrance Examination (TUEE) for admission to various courses. The exam is generally conducted in the month of May, and classes begin in July. Admission based on online University Entrance Examination is granted to the following courses:
M.Tech applicants holding a valid GATE score do not need to appear for the entrance examination. Candidates applying to B.Tech courses will be granted admission on the basis of their performance in JEE (Main). Candidates applying to MBA need to have valid CAT/MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/GMAT/CMAT scores. TUEE 2019 schedule will be announced soon. Candidates need to check the eligibility before applying. After the Diploma in tool and die the best course of action is go for Mechanical Engineering. As you are already a Diploma holder you can try for lateral entry by getting admission in the second year in engineering course. There are many institutes where you can directly apply or you can appear in NEET exam in lateral entry category. If you are not very keen to go for a degree course you have option of applying for jobs based on your present Diploma course and once you get experience in the industry you can try for switching the job also.
