Hi Sivaiah, the academics are good. Some of the teachers are particularly good. But most of the teachers are such that they will show interest in you only if you show interest in them I.e. you must be proactive. There are a large number of societies also with which the teachers are associated thus providing a very good practical approach . The placements in DTU are particularly good. Although it depends on your branch,on an average you can say that the placements are very good especially of the computer related branches.

In my opinion diploma in software will give you more opportunities to tap as well it is widely required n current global requirements.
