Normally speaking, lateral entry mode is available to the students having domicile of the state. Anna University is the nodal agency for the state of Tamil Nadu and all government and private colleges. Deemed to be universities are outside the ambit. Admissions are based on marks obtained in Diploma. Hence I suggest you must score well in your Diploma exam. All relevant information is available on the website of Anna University. First of all, you need to choose the location where you want to pursue your B.Com course, because fees in private colleges are more and less in government colleges. Normally, B.Com fees ranges from ten thousand to one Lacs per year.
