In order to pursue engineering one must have Science (Physics / Chemistry / Maths / Biology or Economics or any other subject) in 10+2.
Students appear for different Engineering Entrance Exams like:

2. VITEEE
3. BITSAT
4. MU OET
5. SRMEEE
6. UPTU and many more at the state level and institute specific.

You can get a list of top business schools and read through their brochures for curriculum. Some of them are IIMs, SPJIM, XLRI. These institutes have entrance exams like CAT, XAT etc. After clearing the entrance exams there are interviews. Based on the interviews you are selected for admissions.
