I am currently studying my MBA in Universal Business School. I can say that this is above my expectations. Sometimes it is difficult to believe that we have such institution in India.
Main reasons I chose UBS was CEO experience and networking opportunities it provides. Since UBS was established by 60 CEOs (such companies as JP Morgan, Barclay, Thomson Reuters, DHL, etc). What a feeling to talk face to face with people who run few billion dollar business and they are sooo down to earth. Interaction with them, discussions are increasing my motivation drastically! It is indeed inspiring!:-)
All the environment made me change my attitude towards studies, firstly I was thinking about graduation diploma as a target, I am now enjoying the study process so much! I like all these simulation games, case studies, project activities. Yes, we need to study here, but faculty from Stanford, Harvard knows how to make us involved and keep our interest!
The other thing - infrastructure - it is better come and see it yourself - beautiful campus, designed by American architect, there are waterfalls around, lakes, you will find modern classrooms, each of us have a single room with attached bathroom and then 3-4 students sharing a common area. Here u will find kitchen and very comfy sofas:) On campus we have gym, yoga classes, basketball, table tennis, piano, pool, etc etc. All the students easily made friends here - we have quiz night, picnics, movie nights, etc etc. So I would agree with a statement: work hard party harder :))
This MBA is 15 months long. 12 months we spend on campus and then for 3 months we have a paid internship. This program is AICTE approved.
So that's shortly about my school. It is difficult to write here everything, better u come to the campus, see the infrastructure, meet our great faculty and then have your own opinion about UBS;)
