There is a lot of scope for home science too these days. But you have not mentioned whether you have done 12th or graduation?
If you have done 12th you can go for B.Sc Home science or B.Sc Hotel Management. In case you are a home science graduate then you can go for M.Sc Home science or M.Sc nutrition & Dietetics or M.Sc Hotel management etc.
There are many universities like Amity, Sharda, Lovely etc that are offering these courses.
Apart from this they are also offering handsome scholarships to students.

Placements are good. Big Brands have visited the campus. Few of the brands that visited this year are:
Accenture, Wipro, Nucleus Software, GreyB Services Pvt Ltd, Intellisence Technologies Pvt Ltd, Samsung India, Head Strong.
Companies keep on visiting throughout the semester for all branches. LPU has very good system and policies of placement.
Also lpu provides PEP classes which are placement classes scheduled every week from 3rd year onwards to improve skill set of students.i also want to add lpu is also conducting mock interviews to boost up the confidence of each and every student.
