The Certificate of Practice (CoP) for AIBE 15 will be issued soon after the result declaration. The Bar Council of India (BCI) has not yet announced a specific date for the issuance of the CoPs. However, it is expected that the CoPs will be issued within a few weeks of the result declaration. The CoP is a mandatory document for all lawyers practicing in India. It is issued by the BCI to candidates who have successfully cleared the AIBE. The CoP is valid for a period of five years. After the expiry of the CoP, lawyers are required to appear for the AIBE again in order to renew their practicing license. The AIBE is a national-level exam that is conducted by the BCI to check the capability of candidates willing to practice law in India. The exam is conducted twice a year, in May and November. The AIBE is a compulsory exam for all lawyers who want to practice law in India. The AIBE consists of two papers: Paper I and Paper II. Paper I is a compulsory paper that tests the candidate's knowledge of the Indian Constitution, the Code of Civil Procedure, the Code of Criminal Procedure, and the Evidence ACT. Paper II is an optional paper that tests the candidate's knowledge of any one of the following subjects:
* Mercantile Law
* Labour Law
* Company Law
* Taxation Law
* Intellectual Property Law
* Environmental Law
The AIBE is a difficult exam, and the pass percentage is usually very low. However, with proper preparation, it is possible to clear the AIBE.
