In Maharashtra, the MHT CET exam is acknowledged as a challenging entrance examination that is similar in difficulty to JEE Main 2024. The questions should be at a somewhat difficult level, similar to the JEE Main paper, based on previous question paper patterns.

The overall difficulty level of MHT CET 2023 is easy to moderate as few questions were direct and few were tricky. The Physics section was moderate. The questions were mostly asked from topics like - Laws of Motion, Thermodynamics and KTG, Electricity and Magnetism, Rotational Dynamics.
