Yes you can be eligible, provided that you have to perform very well in the interview.Recently a session was held from BIBS for the aspiring students by the current students in order to help them face the admission interview.But I think it is too late now for this years admission. In Bit mesra,in the first year only you have to share your room with one student,and if you are lucky then you can also get single room.From second year onwards you will be alloted single rooms Every year hostel is changed and its a good thing indeed.Mess food is very good here.if you have a good taste of northern foods,south indians though face some difficulty.otherwise.it is you who will decide the menu and mess secretary.As far as my experience is concerned,mess food is healthy here .
