Yes, you can easily get admission to the CSE programme after fulfilling the eligibility criteria. I recommend you visit the LPU website and check the eligibility criteria for the BTech CSE programme for international students.
I did MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is also studying over there in B.Tech CSE.

See, no doubt, companies visit their campuses for the placement drive but the main problem is that they offer the job only to the top 10-20 students. All the other students simply have to give their interviews and they only get the offer letter asking them to join after 2 years or 3 years.
