In a bid to empower the girl child, the government of Punjab has now come up with a new initiative and as part of this, all girls will be given free education till Class XII.
The objective is to encourage poor families to get their daughters educated without any financial obligation. From the date given, all government and government aided schools would be providing free education to all girls upto class XII and even the local funds would also be not taken from them.

Before seeking admission in any institute, kindly check the below mentioned parameters such as affiliation, accreditation, fee structure, curriculum etc.
I can totally understand your dilemma in this case as I have been through the same.
Now, you need understand that there are two important things to consider while seeking admission.
(i) A branch of your choice but from a not so good institute = Not much value.
(ii) A not so demanding engineering branch from a good institute= Not much value either.
However, if you are planning to take admission, it is always advisable to keep in mind the various parameters before selecting any institute.

- Faculty

Java/J2EE - The server side software development of web is mostly done by this most secure language option. Most of the banks in India and abroad implement their web applications using Java/J2EE only.
.NET - This is among most popular languages which are direct counterparts of Java. These are mainly used for light weight application development on the server side and client side. .NET is also easy to master compared to the long Java Library.
The other options for the courses include, i am listing most prominent ones from job point of view:
Oracle/Mysql/DB2/DBA - This is one of the most reliable course options but you will not get any work of software development on its basis, yet you can continue doing it if you have interest in DBMS.
