Germany has also introduced English mode of education favouring international applicants, TOEFL or IELTS has become one of the eligibility criteria. However the minimum requirements have been quite low in comparison to Universities in other countries such as US, Canada, UK, Australia etc. Also, the requirement varies with institution or University and also the program, a score 6.0 aggregate in IELTS seems sufficient when compared to requirements in other countries where an aggregate of 6.5 in all bands with 6.0 in individual bands is demanded by most Universities.

If you are still interested in accountancy and finance related work, you may pursue an MCom. If you do not want to leave your present job now, you may pursue a DEB/DEC approved distance education course from a reputed university. But if you are confident of your managerial abilities and wish to climb the corporate ladder but wish to be loyal to your stream, you may pursue an MBA in Finance. If you have plans for private practice as well, you may think of doing CA/CWA or CS.
