Hey Pratah,The admission process for the MBA 2017 here will start by March 2017.You will be expected to have your MAT/CAT/XAT or any of the entrance exam score with a decent percentage. And also a decent percentage in your UG (Above 60%).You will have to undergo the selection process of a Written Ability Test and a Personal Interview with the panel members.

Hello Prajwal, Both the courses are considered equivalent. The BE course is more oriented in developing new technologies and advantages. The B.Tech course, on the other hand, focuses on using these developments and making the changes required to suit the project assigned. Either of the courses is considered good. First of all, you have to complete class 12th with 60% in PCM , then qualify any of the engineering entrance exams like JEE Mains. You need to participate in the counselling so that you can opt for the college of your choice. Duration of engineering is 4 years, each year consists 2 semesters.

You have two ways. First is just after B.Sc. You have two exams: IIT JAM and JEST Physics. You can give both exams. Happens in February every year. Than people who score top ranks in these exams are called for interview in iisc Bangalore. If you clear interview. You will get admission in integrated Ph.D. in iisc. In this you do your M.Sc. And Ph.D. and than leave iisc after 6-7 years. In this you will get 16000rs per month in M.Sc. And 31000rs per month in Ph.D. Second is you do M.Sc. From somewhere else. If you have a placement offer in hand , it is not a big issue in not clearing CAT this year. You can work for 2-3 years and then attempt CAT through which you can get into top institute.

Basically, there are 3 sections in CAT exam - verbal ability, DILR, Quants.
Verbal ability-
Start reading newspaper daily to increase your reading speed and grasping power. Don't miss out the editorial page. Do proper analysis of articles on editorial page. Try to make summary of articles that you read para by para. However, reading newspaper won't be sufficient. Start solving RCs on a regular basis with proper analysis.
DILR-
