Yes, Chandigarh University will strongly consider your profile if you have good B.Tech marks, even if you are not appearing for GATE Exam 2026. Graduation marks are the primary criterion for M.E. admission. If you meet the eligibility requirements for your chosen specialization, you can get direct admission without any issue. GATE is not required for admission, and not appearing for it does not reduce your chances. You may also be eligible for scholarships based on graduation marks or CUCET performance, if you choose to appear for it. Academically strong students are welcomed irrespective of GATE participation.

SIT Pune offers many M.Tech specializations for those who completed their 4-year graduation with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks. This includes Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Automotive Technology, Robotics & Artificial Intelligence, Engineering Design, and Geoinformatics.
