Hi Aditya, Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination administered and conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and Seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordination Board-GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.
After successful completion of B.Tech generally students opt for M.Tech. Aspirants can apply for GATE exam in order to pursue M.Tech. It is an all India test. The test is administered by top technology institutes. Most of the institutes also conduct a personal interview round.
In order to prepare for the exam you require the right approach along with the right study materials and strategy.
* You need to know the content of the test, to ace it. You should be organized and follow a time-table.
* Plan your preparation after knowing your strengths and weaknesses and take a diagnostic test.
* When you get a grip over the basic syllabus, you should start taking regular mock tests to know your preparation status and analyse your performance.
