I won't be able to verify the credibility of external sources guaranteeing you admission in SCMHRD. Though the college reserves some seats as discretionary quota, the admissions happen through official channels. Hence I would request you to refrain from such sources until you are fully aware of their mode of operation. For buffer calls, yes there were some buffer calls given last year though the numbers were not disclosed. In case you require further assistance, do reach out to https://Shiksha.com.
All the best.

In case you are unable to get through, you could try appearing for the entrance examination conducted by other states e.g. OJEE in Odisha, PGECET in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, TANCET in Tamil Nadu, WBUT-PGET in West Bengal, etc.
Further, some private universities conduct their own entrance examination like SRMJEEE for SRM University, VITMEE for VIT University, KIITEE for KIIT University, etc. You can appear for these entrance examinations as well.

You can think of these programmes for your further education with economics background.
MBA finance
International relations

LLB
Development studies
So, choose the field according to future prospects in respect of knowledge and growth.
