The advent of so many new platforms, such as The Logical India, Scroll, SaddaHaq, and the traction that these platforms are gaining is a sign of that. In fact, look at the number of foreign players vying for journalism space in India - Huffington Post, Mashable, Quartz already have operations and a few more are planning to start operations soon. The challenge, however, is what impact journalism is able to make. At this time, thanks to the stupidity of the Internet, it is all about "top x things that blow your mind&get;" which doesn't add real value. Unfortunately, many new platforms are trying to fight for that "viral" space, which wil

Hi Piyush,
I understand your condition but I would recommend you to follow your heart and interest whether it's web development or government sector as you will only be able to earn well if you have an interest in that area and just for your information, clearing SSC or bank exam is also not easy these days as there is a huge competition and it will also take time.

Both B.Sc CS & BCA are equally good courses. B.Sc CS students have a very good theoretical background of computer science subjects whereas BCA students have a very good exposure on computer applications. B.Sc CS requires a more mathematical background. Indian IT industry's primarily business and major revenue is from application development and support projects because of which BCA graduates have minor edge over B.Sc CS graduates. I will suggest you evaluate and select degrees based on an institute's reputation, brand image, and placement record.

IBS Dehradun is quite good. It's located in an excellent location the beauty and feel of the nature there is beyond words. Watching the sunrise from the mountain peaks is amazing. Talking about placements it gives good placement. It's value for money. Both the colleges are more or less the same. But IBS Dehradun has more brand value.

Dear Shivit,
Normally in the GD and PI, they will check your communication, vocabulary, and other awareness levels on contemporary issues. So, have a glance at contemporary issues in the country and in the world. As far as the personal interview is concerned, you have to express about your career and the way you have mapped the same.
All the best.

As a matter of rule, private institutions are allowed to accept students from abroad. But each college has its own rules. I feel it would be better if you speak to the office of this college directly.
