It is just because PGDM provides you to live in the management circumstances while MBA provides you the important knowledge and helps you learn the basic way to manage an organsation. I would suggest you that you can pursue any of the course to understand the managing power and will also suggest you JIMS rohini, if you go for PGDM. The college provides many live project and intership options which will enhance your managerial personality.

In order to pursue a PhD. course, one needs to have a Post Graduate degree from a UGC recognized university.
I'm afraid with your PG Diploma, you are not eligible to pursue PhD.
