To become an IAS officer you have to appear in Civil Service Exam.
The Civil Service Examination is organized by UPSC every year to recruit candidate for IAS, IPS etc.
Academic Qualification:
The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in any field from a well known college or university.

There are various career options available these days. However, I would recommend that you first concentrate on your 12th standard as it is very crucial in setting up a firm foundation.Before you decide what to do after 12thstd, it is important that you become aware of a critical factor for success in your chosen profession. Your exam scores are one part of it considering how competitive it is to land a seat in the hallowed campuses of the IITs and other prestigious institutions.
Always remember, you should pursue a stream/course based on two things :

You can check out the colleges you want to join for their cut-off last year. However it is not feasible to take admission based on low score in GATE but you can try out other criteria. I would suggest you to look out of Pune also to get some best options.
