95% of the syllabuses are same in every entrances like cat, mat, xat, cmat. The modes and type of exams are a bit different. The syllabus includes english, current affairs, general and critical intelligence, mental ability, data interpretation and sufficiency.
No, you will have to appear entrances if u want to get admission in reputed colleges whatever may be your grad stream. Dont go for colleges which give admissions without entrance score. All the best. Thank you.

First of all, it is very important to plan your studies with a clear objective - Have a plan to show what is the current percentage of marks, what subjects are your strength and what are the weak points; go for a weekly timetable; allocate optimum time for strong subjects and more time for weaker ones; make sure to have enough time for food, rest and some relaxation or play. Have mentor in the form of teacher, parents, sibling etc. It truly helps to have someone guide you, direct you, review your work. Consistent and planned efforts will surely fetch good marks. If you are talking about CS in both then BCA is much better than engineering but apart from CS branch engineering is better than doing BCA.

Every College has its certain eligibility criteria in terms of scoring good marks in MHCET. In order to know how many marks are required in MHCET in order to get admission in Sardar Patel College of engineering- Mumbai, there are few possible steps either enquire on the college's website, or contact personally the college authorities or senior students via calling or personal meet or else check the eligibility criteria with regards to marks and other criteria listed or displayed by the college.
