Dear Vipul,
3rd year of b.com is best time for appearing for GMAT reason being if you appear at early stage and manage to score good but still you won't be getting admission till you complete graduation and by the time score validity will be expired.so it is advisable to appear for in final year after exams.

The placement will be good in the IT AND FINANCE Sector. out of 180 students they were more than 80 student were placed till now. All exposure and training will be give to the student and the placement is depend on how you perform. But it is sure that 60% of student have sure placement on all 4 semester.
