Being a commerce student would not be a black mark that would prevent you from ever becoming a game designer. Yet neither would a degree in commerce be a big help in becoming a game designer. I will suggest you to go for GD Goenka University. The infrastructure of the college is awesome. The faculty is the best faculty you will find in any college. Placements are also really good. If you work hard you can cover the college fee within one year of placement.

The highest marks scored in NEET 2018 is 691 out of 720. There has been a significant drop in the cut offs of NEET 2019 i.e. it has dropped by 12 marks for open category and 11 marks for reserved category. This year 7,14,562 students have qualified the exam this year as compared to 6,11,739 last year.
In order to be eligible, one must pass with at least 50% marks in 10 + 2 (or an equivalent examination) with biology subject. D.Pharm (Diploma of Pharmacy) holders are eligible for admission into B.Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy) after completing the degree D.Pharm.

I think it is the worst field of B.Tech so you can drop one year instead of going for this branch, but if you want to go for future higher studies then you can take this branch. In India there is no major scope for this but abroad it has very good value.
