It is difficult to comment on BCOM program for some other university. However, I can vouch for the BCOM Degree itself. It is absolutely a brilliant decision.

To apply in Anna University for B.Sc Psychology, you need to pass in Pre-University/ Higher Secondary/ Two year Diploma in Teacher Education or an equivalent examination.

Procedure for admission, as per the official website :
(A) SPOT SELECTION (Except Lateral Entry Admissions) :
If the applicant living near any of our Study Centers, he/she can step in for Spot Admission. Selection for direct admission to all the programmes will be made at the Study Centres.
For Spot Selection, the candidates must submit the following documents in person :
-Filled in application along with attested photostat copies of Certificates for the eligible qualification and age.
-Passport size photograph pasted on the Application form and got attested.
-Certificates in Original for the eligible qualification and Transfer/ Migration Certificate.
-Two Passport size Photographs. Applicants should not sign on the photographs affixed on the Scanning Form and Identity Card.
-A Demand Draft drawn in favor of The Director, D.D.E., Annamalai University for the prescribed fees (see page. 13 for Mode of Payment and Fees).
Original Certificates will be returned immediately after verification. The Transfer Certificate/Migration Certificate will also be handed over after affixing a seal that the candidate is admitted during the academic year 2013-2014.
All spot admissions will need to be confirmed by the Director or cancelled if found not eligible.
(B) ADMISSION THROUGH POST :
If the applicant's place is not near any of the Study Centers, the filled-in application may be sent to the Director, Directorate of Distance Education, Annamalai University, Annamalainagar – 608 002 along with attested photostat copies of :
-Certificates for the eligible qualification
-Transfer/ Migration Certificate and
-Two passport size photographs pasted on Identity Card and Scanning Form
Students seeking admission through post need not enclose the original certificates and demand draft along with the admission application.
