Hi Anand,
HIT, Haldia is in a very growing condition and is raising it's bars day by day. The placement scenario is also quite good, with the IT giants like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Ericssion global, Huawei technology, Mindtree, Birla Soft, HPL & L&T infotech and the core companies like Vedanata, Linde group, L&T, exide, Titagarh Wagon, ABCI infrastructures & Tata Power coming for on campus placements and several other companies are offering walk ins. Infrastructure is trustworthy and faculty are better than good. It is definitely a good choice to make in area like Haldia.
All the best.

Hello Abhishek,
In Delhi, I think only Delhi Institute of Fire Engineering offers a course in fire engineering. So you may opt for it. There are not many colleges in Delhi.
But there are more than 20 colleges for fire engineering in the whole of India.

If you are comparing these two branches on the basis of placements or higher studies then you must be aware that preference is given to a student from CSE background than an IT student.
This is because a student from CSE is supposed to be familiar with all concepts of subjects offered in IT but it's not the other way around.
Hope you found this answer useful.

There is nothing like I am weak. It's just our psychology. There are many students whose weak subjects become their whole career. Maths is all about practice. I think in order to test yourself you should be practicing a sum and understanding its concept and then you should try to solve a sum on your own without referring the solution if you come to be correct then maths is your subject. If not then you can opt for BCA. But be confident while solving because if you set this in your mind that I am weak in this subject you will never be able to solve any problems of maths.

Hi Stanzin,
Often students confuse between B.Com(H) and B.Com(P). Both the courses are related to each other but there is some difference between the two. B.Com(H) is a degree in which subjects like accountancy and economics are taught in depth but in B.Com(P) there is overview of these subjects. B.Com(H) specializes in these subjects whereas B.Com(P) will not.
Subjects in B.Com(P)
Environmental Studies
Financial accounting
Business organisation and management
Micro economics
Business laws
Business maths
Macro economics
Company laws
Income tax
Indian economics
Indirect Tax
Human recourse management
Cost accounting
Principles of marketing
Financial mana
