The Council of Architecture (CoA) administers the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). This nationwide test is designed to evaluate the qualifications of applicants seeking admission to undergraduate architecture schools. There are three stages to the examination. Yes, CAT 2025 dates for admission to IIM Lucknow are out. To apply for the CAT exam, candidates are required to create an account, fill the CAT registration form and pay the exam application fee. CAT form have to be submitted by a certain deadline after which no application will be accepted. Students are required to appear for the CAT exam in Computer Based Testing mode at allotted test centres. CAT exam for IIM Lucknow admission will be held in three slots. These are as follows:

• Morning slot: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
• Afternoon slot: 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM
• Evening slot: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM

Part A - Drawing and Composition Test

A1 - Composition and Colour Test - Creating suitable compositions for various situations and colouring them appropriately. Re-arranging various shapes in a visually appealing manner and colouring it suitably.

A2 - Sketching and Composition (Black and White) - Ability to draw, visualize, and depict a situation, involving buildings/its components, people, environment, products with an understanding of scale, proportions, textures, shades and shadow etc.

A3 - 3D Composition - Creating interesting 3D compositions for the given situation using the provided kit.

Part B - MCQs

Visual Reasoning - Ability to understand and reconstruct 2D and 3D composition, knowledge about its composition and technical concepts.

Logical Derivation - Ability to decode a situation, composition, context and generate meaning. Understanding the minute information hidden in a particular situation and drawing conclusions.
