ICFAI Business School, Mumbai admission process for PGPM programme is entirely entrance-based. The applicants are shortlisted based on merit in the accepted exams such as IBSAT/CAT/ GMAT /NMAT by GMAC/XAT. Candidates fulfilling the prescribed criteria are exempted from IBSAT exam. Further, the shortlisted candidates are called for personal interview and group discussion round. The final selection is done based on performance in the selection rounds. An Academic year at IIIT Manipur BTech is divided in two semesters each of approximately 17 weeks duration, an autumn semester (July-November) and a Spring Semester (January- April), the students are required to follow procedures and meet academic requirements in each semester.

For admission to MBA (or PGP) 2024 batch at IIM Visakhapatnam, the CAT test will be conducted on November 26, 2023. Aspirants of IIM Visakhapatnam are required to appear for the exam in Computer Based Testing mode at the allotted test centres. CAT exam 2023 will be held in three slots:
Morning slot: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
Afternoon slot: 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM
Evening slot: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM
Earlier, the CAT exam used to be of 180 minutes with 100 questions but in 2020, both exam duration and number of questions were reduced due to COVID-19 pandemic. Now, starting CAT 2022, the total number of questions stands at 66 as part of CAT pattern.
