Yes, Hofstra expects the Duolingo scores to prove the English language requirements along with other test scores. International students coming from diverse backgrounds must prove their English language proficiency as a basic eligibility to get university admission. The admission process for the COER University, Roorkee BCA course begins with the application process. After filling out the form, students must pay the application fee to successfully apply. Hofstra University does not ask for SAT scores for every specialization. However, if students choose to submit their scores, they must aim for the minimum required scores. As per the student profile of the class of 2028, the students who submitted standardized test scores, the mid-range SAT score was 1270-1450 and the mid-range ACT score was 28-33. Students must aim to score in between the range to improve their selection probability.

COER University conducts the application process in online and offline modes for all candidates. To apply online, the candidates are required to visit the admission portal of the university. Listed below are the steps to visit the admission portal and register:

Hofstra University is quite expensive for Indian students. The tuition costs range between INR 47L and INR 48L for undergraduate and INR 19L and INR 59L for postgraduate programs. Along with the tuition cost, students must make a budget for other expenses also including activity fees, housing, food, room rent, books and supplies, and more. The late fee amount for CA Intermediate form submission is INR 600. Candidates have to pay the additional amount of late fee if they are submitting the form after the original deadline of CA Intermediate registration. The actual fee for CA Inter is INR 1,500 for single group and INR 2,700 for both groups (domestic students).

The application window for the January batch of Alliance AMAT closed on January 31, 2026. This year too, the exam will be conducted in two batches. The last date to apply for Alliance-AMAT for July batch was April 15. 

Lloyd Entrance Test 2026 for law will be conducted online. The exam will be conducted in a home-based proctored mode. Interested students can fill the Lloyd Entrance Test application form on the website, lloydlawcollege.edu.in. While filling the form they can book the test slot.

The National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is a compulsory computer-based test for admission to the five-year Integrated MSc programme in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics, at the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai – Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM–DAE CEBS), Mumbai.

The registration fee is non-refundable so they must also not make any error in the form. Otherwise, they will have to fill a fresh form and pay the fee again.

Students who wish to pursue the COER University BCA course must pay the tuition fees on an annual basis. The tuition fee for the first year is INR 75,000. From the second year onwards, the tuition fee to be paid is INR 90,500 annually. Combining all, the total tuition fee amounts to INR 2.56 lakh for a course duration of three years.
