The following admissions procedure must be followed by international students to be admitted to Hofstra University:
Step 1: Select a program: International students must select from 175 undergraduate programs, and more than 200 graduate programs, and check the requirements and eligibility.
Step 2: Complete the application: Students can complete the application through a university portal or a common app, and they must submit documents such as resumes, academic transcripts, results from standardized tests, English language proficiency, and more.
Step 3: Pay application fee: To apply, students must pay USD 70 (INR 5.8K) for undergraduate programs and USD 75 (INR 6.3K) for graduate programs. (USD 1 =INR 83.94).
Step 4: Await a reply: After reviewing the application, Hofstra University will send an offer letter to enroll in the program a few weeks later.
Step 5: Pay the tuition. Depending on the course, international students must pay tuition fees in order to be registered for the first semester. For undergraduate programs, the tuition costs range from INR 45L to INR 46L, while for postgraduate programs, the range is INR 18L to INR 57L.

Candidates can get admission to BA LLLB (Hons.) programme offered by Lloyd Law College without taking the Lloyd Entrance Test. For this their scores in CLAT, LSAT-India, AILET, BHU, GGSIPU, JAMIA (JMI Entrance Exam), AMU entrance exams will be considered. The eligibility criteria for this admission process are mentioned below: 

• Obtained a minimum of 60% in 10+2 or a score on the National Entrance Exam, such as the CLAT, LSAT-India, AILET, BHU, GGSIPU, JAMIA, AMU, and others.
• Each candidate's test score will be cut down to a maximum of 50 marks per candidate. For example, the candidate's score of 150 on the CLAT will be reduced to 50 points (1/3) of the candidate's score.
• Candidates who are appearing in class 12 or have a score below 60% must apply for the Lloyd Online Test to be considered for the final phase of selection, i.e. personal interview.

• 10th Mark Sheet/Certificate (Photocopy & original),
• 12th Mark Sheet/Certificate (Photocopy & Original),
• Residence Proof,
• Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS); and
• Six passport-size recent photographs

The Nationwide Education and Scholarship Test is an initiative to provide scholarship grants to Junior and Senior Class students. The senior category comprises students studying engineering and medicine and those pursuing Science courses; here, scholarships in INR are earned based on performance in the test - disbursing major amounts to the top-performing candidates. 

- A scholarship amount of one Lacs (1,00,000) is set aside for the Topper of NEST Senior II, while the next ten toppers are awarded 40,000 each.
- The top slot holder in NEST Senior I receives 75,000, while the next ten toppers are given 35,000.

So this would mean, if one is eligible and performs well enough in NEST, then that person might get a scholarship of up to 1,000,000.

- NEST: Provides scholarships for candidates of junior and senior categories. Seniors include those studying engineering, medicine, and science; the award is based on the examined score. High-performing candidates can thus avail themselves of major awards or scholarships.

- For NEST Senior II, the scholarship amount is 1,00,000 for the first rank. Next 10 students will get 40,000. 

- For NEST Senior I, the first rank in this test gets 75,000. The next 10 students will be awarded 35,000 each.

- In fact, if you meet the qualifications and perform well enough in NEST, you could get a scholarship to the tune of 1,00,000.

International students must fulfill the basic eligibility criteria and submit the required documents asked by the university to get enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs. The basic requirements to get into Hofstra University are given below:
