At Global Institute of Business Studies (GIBS) in Bangalore, work experience does have some weightage in the admission process, especially for PGDM or MBA programs. While fresh graduates can also apply, students who have prior work experience often get an advantage during shortlisting and interviews.

Honestly, the basic requirement to get into GIBS is pretty simple —
for BBA you need to finish 12th, and for PGDM/MBA you need to finish graduation.
That's it. No crazy conditions or anything.

From my experience, once you have the basic qualification, they mostly look at how interested you are, how you communicate, and whether you actually want to do management. Academic qualification is just the starting point, the rest is based on your vibe and interview.
