CAT is an exam conducted by the IIMs and accepted by most of the b-schools. CAT is conducted in the month of November or December. CAT consists of 4 subjects divided into different sections:
1. Data interpretation.
2. Logical reasoning.
3. Quantitative aptitude and
4. Verbal ability along with reading comprehension.
You need to prepare all sections very well and be thorough with all the topics. A score of more than 95 percentile is needed to get a call from a top b-school.

if ur coming through TANCET fees is 4.5L or through mat etc it's 10L . for hostel additional 2L and category is not an issue it applies only to get seat through TANCET.

for cat 70percentage and for TANCET it depends upon number of students apply , u must get top 100 rankings because the seats for TANCET category are less and filled up quickly. Academics score helps only through cat not in TANCET also u belong to OC so seats are very few through TANCET .

If you want to pursue MBA after BE, then I would suggest you to pursue MBA in IT, if you have completed BE in IT, CE, CSE or EC. Otherwise, it depends on you.

No, if you are sure about going abroad, you still have enough time to prepare for entrance exam like TOEFL and IELTS. You can go step by step and apply for September intake of 2017.
